WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
No warranty or guarantee is given by TheHousekraft for the following:
(1) any condition of the Product attributable to; or
(2) any damage to Products resulting from:

Wear and tear due to normal use (e.g. scratches, dents, cuts) or to accidents or mishandling.

Any other defect that is not mentioned in the Standard or LTW coverage is not covered.

Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear is NOT covered.

Exposure to intense or excessive light, sunlight, moisture or heat, natural wood materials, laminates, or other materials might change in colour, grain, or texture.

Inappropriate cleaning agents, chemicals, detergents, abrasives, or other cleaning methods which can damage the wooden surface or metallic coating of the Products or cause them to rust.

Products that are altered, modified, or used in a manner inconsistent with the Intended use of the product designed Initially

Damage caused by any force majeure event such as flooding, hurricane, earthquake, lightning, etc., environmental condition such as air pollution, solvent exposure, Mold, mildew etc., or staining from foreign substances such as dirt, grease, oils, sprays etc.

excessive or commercial use, relocation, or sanitization of the home and product has taken place.

damage or stain caused by water leakage/seepage. or damage caused by drilling over tiled surface.

WARRANTY RELATED INFO

Service Start Date: The service period shall commence on the earlier of the following:
- The date on which all contracted scope items are completed, or
- The date on which the customer takes possession of the premises or moves into the house
This Service Start Date shall remain unchanged irrespective of the existence of pending snag items, the completion of the sign-off or handover process, or any other reason that may arise after possession or any additional scope completion. -
Project Sign off: Project sign off process is initiated with the customer post to completion of all scope & snags at the convenience of the customer

Project Handover: Project Handover process involves handing over keys, any appliance accessory etc post to Project Sign off. On project Handover completion, account is converted to a Service Account

The customer becomes eligible to claim warranty only after the Project Handover process is complete, and the project has been transferred to the Service Account.

The Standard Warranty applies initially to repair services only. However, if repair is not feasible, replacement of the product or part will be provided on the discretion of the company.

Upon raising a service request with TheHouseKraft, our representative will assess the nature of the issue. Based on the applicable warranty, the representative will advise whether the service is covered or chargeable.

The Standard Warranty is not subject to extension or renewal. Nonetheless, TheHouseKraft is happy to offer after-sales support even beyond the warranty period. Please refer to the Other Charges section for applicable visitation, service, and labour fees. Note: Material replacement costs are chargeable if required.

Customers interested in upgrading to a Lifetime Warranty must purchase the upgrade before the commencement of project execution.

Installations typically involve third-party products. Owners are requested to provide the relevant installation guides or documentation. TheHouseKraft or its installers shall not be held responsible for any incorrect installations or issues arising from the absence of proper installation instructions. -

Scope of Work & Additional Charges
Any activity or task requested that is not included in the originally listed scope of work will incur additional charges, which will be communicated transparently to the customer prior to execution. -

Hardware Care & Precautions:

Precautions while using cleaning agents - Rust on channels, hinges, and other metallic parts due to household chemicals, sprays, moisture, or leakage of water. Oil spills are also known to Induce rusting. Care must be taken when using such products around hardware and accessories.

Using the Right Cleaning Tools - If you have cabinets that are finished with laminate, acrylic or PU, they need just a quick wipe down with a Micro fibre or just a soft cloth and a mild all-purpose cleaner. One can make a household cleaning solution with a 50:50 mix of white vinegar and water. By doing this regularly, we can avoid oil and grime build-up. Keep an eye on cabinets close to the cooking area, as that’s where most cooking oil will build up on cabinet shutters happen. Avoid cleaning agents on Pigmented & Powder coated surfaces, as it can decolour the material.

Stains can be tricky - If your cabinets are of finished in wood and polished with melamine, they can be cleaned in pretty much the same way. Wiping any spills at once, saves the surface from staining. Even water can leave a stain, so one needs to be careful!

Hot Vessels or heat exposure - Avoid keeping anything that’s very hot on wooden or laminate surfaces. Heat leads to cracks on laminate surface & crystalizes the adhesive holding the laminate, which leads to laminate warping & peeling

Observe Leakage's - Water leaks from the Hose pipe, kitchen sink or washbasin should be fixed immediately. Moisture over a course of time will ruin carcass and shutters and can cause them to warp. Continuously damp surfaces can lead to mold or fungus creation Inside ply veneers

Counter-Top care - Quartz/Marble are porous material's so make sure that you do not let any citrus juices like lime or spices like turmeric water/paste is not spilt on the countertop. Since counter-top materials like quartz are porous, stains may be permanent. So, if there are any spills ensure that they are wiped immediately.

"LIFE TIME WARRANTY" is a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer/supplier, promising to repair or replace it if necessary within a specified "life" of a product.
c. What Is Product Lifetime?
Life of a product Is assumed & arrived based on the build quality, working mechanism, recommended usage cycles which is operationally tested by the OEM & general usage feedback Suppliers & Clients. Below Table details out Life of Product
d. What if functional Warranty?
A functional warranty guarantees that a product will perform its intended function according to specified parameters, rather than just guaranteeing against defects in materials or workmanship. It essentially assures the buyer that the product will do what it's supposed to do.
e. Why Is bathroom hardware so prone to rusting?
Even In spite of using 304 grade hinges & Telescopic channels in bathroom Vanity, metallic surfaces can still rust when it comes in contact of cleaning solvents such as cleaners, chloride.
f. What are Door bends & their corrective measures?
Plywood generally bends due to one of two reasons.
Moisture difference between the two faces of the plywood panel or when Sticking laminates only to one side of the ply
Bends are easily correctable if they are over 10mm & it is considered as a defect
g. What do if my service request does not get attended or delayed beyond reason?
Customers can write service.request@thehousekraft.com to escalate the concern from their registered email or mobile no. The Company shall provide necessary clarifications/justifications with respect to the Complaint within 6 business days of receipt of the complaint. On successfully resolving the issues in compliance with the policies of the Company, the concerned representative shall close the ticket. If the issue is not resolved as per the expectation of the customer, customer may request to re-open the same or if any further/ other issues come up, the customer may again raise the same by raising another complaint on call.
h. What does TaT or Severity matrix mean?
Issues have been broadly classified into 3 categories depending on the nature of service request which defines how soon the service engineer will Respond & Resolve during Service Hours once the call has been logged by the customer from their registered Mobile or Email.
